C&R Construction completed a full property conversion from a 2 bedroom house into 5 x 1 bed apartments. Chris and the team were very polite, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile in all aspects of the renovation process. Chris and Rachel have been beyond amazing… I couldn’t have picked a more difficult time to renovate an apartment in the Town Centre. Starting the project in January and completing in August, as a team (and I say that because that’s exactly what it felt like). We had to deal with delays with supplies, COVID isolation, illness and much more. However, throughout communication was excellent and we dealt with each situation with humour and clear next steps. This was my first project after returning back to the Town Centre and I took on the apartment knowing I wanted to really go for it. Chris not only supported some crazy ideas, he also told me to wind it in if they were getting out of hand! The team were all highly skilled, great people, respectful and super tidy. Letting me ask questions and I’ve learnt such a lot. The contractors Chris brings in have so much respect for him and his standards are high….a few things were not to his satisfaction (I was ok with them) but Chris would insist on rectifying something he felt was just not right. Even when I had just one room to live in Chris and the team made sure I was always comfortable and had access to utilities to make the really dusty and dirty stage as easy as possible. Payments for the work were paid throughout at a steady rate which was great for managing budget. I had so much fun doing this…. And actually missed them when they had to jump on another job. Yes the project took longer than expected but at no fault of Chris and his team…in his words ‘it is what it is’. I now have this phrase on my shelves! Thank you to Chris and all of the team for making my fresh start in the City a fantastic one, I have the perfect party apartment!
